If you wish to permanently delete your GetDropGo account and all associated personal data, please follow the instructions below. This action is irreversible.
How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your account, please contact our support team with the following information:
Email Support
Send email to: support@getdropgo.net
Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
Include in message:
- Your registered email address
- Your full name as registered
- Phone number associated with account
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Processing Timeline
1. Request Received
We acknowledge your request within 48 hours
2. Verification
We verify your identity for security (1-2 business days)
3. Deletion
Account permanently deleted within 30 days
Total processing time: Up to 30 days from request submission. You will receive email confirmation once deletion is complete.
What Data Will Be Deleted
The following information will be permanently removed from our systems:
Personal Information
- Name, email address, phone number
- Profile photo and account settings
- Contact preferences
Delivery Data
- Delivery history and requests
- Pickup and dropoff addresses
- Item photos and descriptions
Communication Data
- In-app chat messages
- Support ticket history
- Notification preferences
Location & Device Data
- GPS location history
- Device information and IDs
- App usage analytics
Data That May Be Retained
For legal, security, and operational reasons, some information may be retained for a limited period:
Financial & Legal Records
Transaction history and payment records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax laws and financial regulations.
Security & Fraud Prevention
Anonymized data for fraud detection and security purposes may be retained for up to 90 days.
Backup Systems
Data in backup systems will be permanently deleted during the next scheduled backup cycle (within 90 days).
Important Information
Action is Permanent
Account deletion is irreversible. Once processed, you will need to create a new account if you wish to use GetDropGo again.
Active Deliveries
Accounts with active or pending deliveries cannot be deleted. Please complete or cancel all deliveries before submitting a deletion request.
Payment Disputes
Outstanding balances or active payment disputes must be resolved before account deletion can be processed.
